Training Policy
The institution is committed to continuous professional
growth of its teaching faculty by providing structured and diverse training
opportunities aimed at enhancing pedagogical skills, academic competence, and
personal development.
- Refresher Courses: Faculty members are encouraged to regularly participate in
refresher courses to update their subject knowledge, familiarize themselves
with current trends, and incorporate modern teaching methodologies. These
courses ensure the teaching staff remains current and effective in their
disciplines.
- Methodology Workshops: Special workshops focusing on innovative teaching methods
and instructional strategies are organized. These workshops emphasize
learner-centric approaches, use of educational technology, and interactive
pedagogies to boost classroom engagement and learning outcomes.
- Teachers' Learning Evaluation Technology Programs: Training programs are conducted to familiarize teachers with
the latest evaluation technologies and assessment tools. These programs enhance
abilities to design fair, transparent, and comprehensive evaluation systems
that support learning effectively.
- Soft Skills Development Programs: Recognizing the integral role of communication, leadership,
and interpersonal skills, the faculty development agenda includes soft skills
workshops. These programs enhance faculty’s ability to mentor students,
collaborate with peers, and manage academic responsibilities with
professionalism.
- Faculty Development Programs (FDP): Comprehensive FDPs are organized and promoted regularly,
including seminars, conferences, and research forums. Faculties are encouraged
to participate in domain-specific and interdisciplinary programs to broaden
their expertise and academic network.
- Induction/Orientation Programs: Newly recruited faculty undergo structured orientation
sessions to familiarize themselves with institutional policies, academic
culture, and expectations. Induction programs also provide guidance on
administrative procedures and campus resources to ensure smooth integration.
The institution supports faculty attendance to both in-house
and external high-quality training, offering duty leave and assistance where
appropriate. Continuous assessment and feedback mechanisms are established to
measure the impact of training initiatives and to identify future needs.
